Talk to the librarian while carrying the complete list. He checks your bag, prepares one of his flying books and hands it over as a hat.

Single stage and repeatable - there are no progress variables at all, everything is asked, checked and consumed in one conversation. That also means there is no accept step: you must already be carrying every item before you talk to him, otherwise he just mocks you and the dialogue ends.
