- Eliana of Hugel has the same nightmare every night: a dark, dirty room without sunlight, people who made her pray at stones and never treated her like a human, and one man who smiled at her. Her father refuses to talk about her childhood, so the truth has to be dug out of Lighthalzen instead.
Walkthrough
Stage 1 — Eliana

Let Eliana tell you about her recurring nightmare - choose "Sure, I would love to." She mentions she has no memories of her childhood and that her dad refuses to tell her anything.
Stage 2 — Eliana's Dad
Location: hu_in01 351,178
Ask her father about the dream. He brushes it off as stress, says he will not allow anyone to take her away from him again, and tells you to leave them alone.
Stage 3 — Lacey
Location: hu_in01 368,106
Talk to Eliana's friend Lacey. She points out that the two moved to Hugel about 15 years ago and look nothing alike - not even hair and eye colour - so she believes Eliana is adopted.
Stage 4 — Eliana's Dad
Location: hu_in01 351,178
Confront the father with what Lacey said. He admits Eliana is adopted, and warns you to keep away from Lacey.
Stage 5 — Lacey
Location: hu_in01 368,106
Go back to Lacey. She suggests looking into Eliana's hometown, but she is late for a party and wants a Slotted Turban first. If you do not have one she suggests old blue or purple boxes, or Kachua in Comodo.
Stage 6 — Lacey

Bring Lacey the hat. In return she tells you that Eliana's hometown is Lighthalzen and that she believes Eliana comes from a rich family.

Stage 7 — Suspicious Salesman

In Lighthalzen, let the jewel salesman pitch you a Tear Stone made by the daughter of a witch. He mentions another little girl who was kidnapped 15 years ago, and names his price for letting you watch the stone being crafted.
Stage 8 — Suspicious Salesman

Pay the salesman. He sends you to the other side of the city, where his guard Garth will be waiting.

Stage 9 — Garth

Meet Garth. He confirms you are the one who wants the Tear Stone and points you to the girl who makes them - Celena.
Stage 10 — Celena
Location: lhz_in03 31,227
Listen to Celena. She dreams of sunshine and family and of another 'me' in this world; when you mention Eliana she begs you to help her and Garth escape.
Stage 11 — Garth
Location: lhz_in03 15,220
Tell Garth about Eliana. He realises the two are twins from a broken royal family of the far east, explains he cannot fight the merchants off as he is, and lists the gear he would need.
Stage 12 — Garth

Deliver the gear. Garth says they are leaving tonight, and wonders aloud whether Celena should reunite with her sister instead of hiding with him.

Ask Celena what she wants. She chooses to stay with Garth rather than put her sister in danger, and asks you to tell him her decision.

Pass Celena's answer to Garth. He swears to protect her and leaves it to you whether to tell Eliana or her father.

Return to Hugel and tell Eliana everything. She says she will pray for their success.
Stage 16 — Eliana's Dad
Location: hu_in01 351,178
Tell the father as well. He reveals he is the butler of the royal family, still blames himself for failing to save Celena too, and rewards you for helping her.

Notes
A 16-step story chain tracked by the variable miniangel_step, completable only once. No class or level requirement and no failure chance; every hand-in has a countitem check. Garth teleports anyone who talks to him outside of the right quest steps to Lighthalzen 263,200, so do not look for him early. The 400,000,000 Zeny is checked and subtracted directly. The reward, item 30015, is the same Wings of Courage item that the Mini Angel Wings quest gives out. Note that Eliana starts the chain but her father hands over the reward.
